Charlotte Anita Davis, 57, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at a local care center in Mountain Home. She was born on Jan. 1, 1958, in Sacramento, Calif., as the first baby girl born that year, which she fondly liked to mention. She lived many places during her time on earth, but mostly Northwest America.

It was hard to keep her pinned to one location due to her vivacious and free spirit. She traveled and lived across the United States while working as a nail technician in her younger years.

She enjoyed this profession immensely because it brought out everything she loved in being the girly and sassy woman we all loved. She especially had a passion to have her hair and makeup done to perfection. Even her nails, her purse, phone cover and shoes had to match in her daily appearance.

She had a deep love for her children, grandchildren and her faith. She also cared and nurtured many of her children's friends when they were in need, no matter the cost to her. She adored her cross-eyed sidekick kitty, Izzy, to-the-moon-and-back in her later years.

She had a curious interest in all things regarding the Criminal Justice System. With this inquisitive nature, it sparked her to go back to school for a short period to study Criminology at ISU in Pocatello, Idaho.

She is survived by her children Courtney Harbin (Jake) of Moscow, Idaho; Brandi Bushnell (Andy) of Montana; grandchildren Shaylene Allen (Kris), Erica, Anthony and Bree Bushnell and Charles Sword; great-grandchild, Gillian Sword; her mother, Doris Robbins, and siblings, Debbie, Michael and Donna and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Robbins, and son, Adam Gonzalez.

As per her request, she did not want a service or to place a burden upon surviving family members. In lieu of this, contributions for her cremation are lovingly accepted at: gofundme.com/v94q3vw4.

Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
