School board awards contract to fix roof at Hacker

Repairs to the roof at Hacker Middle School are now expected to begin in early October after the Mountain Home School Board awarded a contract for the project.

In a special meeting Sept. 2, the board approved nearly $600,000 to J.B.'s Roofing Inc. after the company submitted the second lowest bid for the project.

    This was discussed many times during the days leading up to the vote. It is REPAIR not replace the roof. And I would suggest you call the people holding the money as in the School District. The contractor has no obligation to tell the public anything but the District does.
