P&Z approves solar farm project

Elmore County could become home to another solar farm as the county planning and zoning commission met Aug. 19 to discuss the proposed 20 megawatt generating complex.

Simco Solar LLC, applied for a permit to construct and operate the utility-scale photovoltaic, or PV, solar energy facility.
