School district levy passes by wide margin

Repairs to the roof at Hacker Middle School could begin within a matter of weeks after voters in Mountain Home and surrounding communities approved a $5 million plant facility levy last week.

The levy, which aims to make additional repairs in other local area schools passed by a 74 percent margin, according to final results released by county elections officials on Friday.
