Albert Young

Albert "Bud" M. Young, age 86 of Mountain Home, passed away peacefully on the evening of Aug. 23, 2015, in his home with family and friend Sharyl at his side. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Albert was born July 4, 1929, in Grafton, W. Va., to James Edward Young and Ruth Eudora (Morris) Young.

He attended schools in California and graduated from high school in Chamont, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Air Force, Naval Reserve and Army National Guard. After retiring from the Air Force, he attended Northwest Electronics School and joined the Boeing Company, working on many missile sites.

Bud married Jeanette Murray in 1950. Bud enjoyed helping other people and his great joy was Idaho, the weather and hunting season.

Bud is survived by his wife, Jeanette, and four sons, Troy (Pam), Scott (Corol), Mark and Brian Kip. He was preceded in death by daughter in-law, Lee Ann, and son, Timothy. Bud enjoyed seven grandsons and 11 great-grandchildren.
