Thanks for all the support

Dear editor,

The Western Elmore County Recreation District Directors, President Jana Borgholthaus, Vice-President Mollie Marsh and Director Rachelle Ruffing wish to thank those who presented information during our town hall meeting June 30 at Mountain Home High School. The clear, succinct explanations and the heartfelt statements about commitment to the community and a future recreation center were well received.

We also extend special thanks for the work that went into the question and answer segment. A lot of forethought went into organizing the questions so the audience received the most complete response from the most qualified person.

Thank you, also, to the 225 attendees. Our community was engaged in listening to the presentations which explained the finances, the design and the capital campaign. The questions submitted by the audience helped to clarify other points of interest.

Lastly, the recreation district truly appreciates those in the Mountan Home School District who helped make arrangements to use the Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium for the forum. They were very helpful in setting up the chairs and sound system. Without all of them coming together with their expertise, we could not have had such a successful forum.
