FAA honors city officials

A large-scale project that reconstructed the runway and taxiway at the Mountain Home Municipal Airport was recently recognized by the Federal Aviation Administration as officials presented the city a certificate of excellence.

Ted Thompson, the airport's fixed-base operator who manages the field, presented the plaque to Mayor Tom Rist during a city council meeting July 13.
