Dorothy Machul

Dorothy M. Machul, age 89 of Mountain Home, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015. The daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Klich) Hrinik, Dorothy was born Feb. 13, 1926 in St. Charles, Mich., coming to Saginaw in 1943.

She was married to Stanley Machul on June 26, 1948. He predeceased her in 1978. Dorothy was employed at St. Mary's Hospital in the Dietary Unit. She was a past member of St. Helen Catholic Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Paulson of Saginaw and Janice and Robert Chaney of Mountain Home; a son-in-law, Fred Lichata of Shelby Township, Mich.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers, June and Ed Armbruster of Sebawing; Frank and Florence Hrinik of Bradenton, Fla.; and Henry and Bonnie Hrinik of Saginaw; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Audrey Lichota.

Funeral services were held in Saginaw, Mich., on Monday, July 27, 2015.
