Gay marriage ruling had little impact locally

Last month's Supreme Court ruling that makes gay marriage legal in all 50 states isn't expected to have an impact locally since Idaho has allowed these couple to file for marriage licenses for nearly nine months.

A ruling by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals paved the way for same-sex marriage in Idaho with the first licenses made available at the Elmore County Courthouse and others across the state Oct. 15.
