Record-setting heat prompts public heath advisory

With temperatures across southern Idaho breaking into the triple digits this week, state public health officials encourage people to take steps to stay cool when dealing with the heat.

Too much heat and too little water can lead to heat exhaustion and heat stroke, even for otherwise healthy people, according to information released by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare last week.
