Thunder returns to Mountain Home

Courtney Fredericksen shows her patriotic pride as she joins her family to welcome the motorcyclists as they arrived at Carl Miller Park during this year's Patriot Thunder observance on Saturday. More than 720 motorcycles were part of the procession that traveled here from Meridian.

The subtle rumbling sound caught people's attention as they stood along the side of East 8th North Street.

"It sounds like thunder," one person remarked as they looked down the street toward the interstate looking to locate the source.
