Cheryl and Richard Eagley

Cheryl A. Eagley, age 60, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at a Boise hospital and her husband Richard A. "Dick" Eagley Jr., age 74, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at a Mountain Home care center. Both Cheryl and Richard are from Mountain Home.

A memorial service for Cheryl and Richard will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1150 North 8th East St. in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Dick and Cheryl met in Tucson, Ariz., and were together 33 years. They moved to Mountain Home in 1999 and were married in Mountain Home in 2001.

Together, they were a team, driving long haul trucks. After retirement, Dick drove a school bus in Mountain Home. In Dick's younger years, he served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed fishing. In Mountain Home, he enjoyed caring for his trees at their home. Cheryl enjoyed reading.

Dick is survived by his daughter, JoAnn Henrick, his sons, Richard Eagley III and Joseph Eagley, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and his brother, Louis Eagley. Cheryl is survived by her sister, Julia Garcia, and brother, Scott Kleckner.

Dick was preceded in death by his brother, Ray, and a niece. Cheryl was preceded in death by a niece, and both were preceded in death by their parents.
