Event planned for local 'tiny house' project

Students from the school district's gifted and talented program spent a majority of the school year building this tiny house.

After nearly two years of planning and months of construction, a project led by a select group of local school students is ready for the public to visit.

An open house for the school's "tiny house" effort is planned for 3 to 6 p.m. May 15 in the Hacker Middle School parking lot.
