Air Force base hosting Gunfighter Flag exercise

Mountain Home Air Force Base regularly hosts the Gunfighter Flag exercises, which bring together units from different U.S. service branches as well as representatives from various foreign countries.

Airmen at Mountain Home Air Force Base began testing their combat readiness skills during a large-scale exercise that began Monday.

Held on a regular basis throughout the year, Gunfighter Flag trains participants to defend against advanced adversary threats while increasing cohesion among units at the base and other U.S. military service branches, base officials said.
