Volunteers build community garden

Volunteers add top soil to the wooden garden containers at the KOA campground in Mountain Home. The effort is designed to promote health eating as well as building a stronger community.

A small group of Mountain Home residents are joining forces to create a stronger community through the use of gardening.

Over the past two weeks, the group converted a concrete pad next to the KOA Campground on East 10th North Street into a container garden using re-purposed wood and a lot of hard work.
