More than 150 local people targeted in tax fraud cases

More than 150 people in the Mountain Home area were targeted in a series of cases involving tax fraud, according to updated information from the Idaho Tax Commission.

Information released on Friday showed that 135 tax filers were victims of this type of fraud along with another 19 individuals stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base, said Renee Eymann, a spokesperson with the state tax commission.
