Discussion to resume on charter elementary school

Charter school officials plan to build the alternative education facility on East 8th North Street.

After a nearly 14-month delay, plans to build a charter elementary school in Mountain Home are set to resume this month.

Recently, representatives from Richard McKenna Charter High School resubmitted a conditional use permit to build the alternative education facility on East 8th North Street.

  • Sounds good. McKenna has seemed to run in the black and have their schools paid for when they are built. If they are doing this again, then it may give a choice as to where parents can send their children to school. Hope it goes well for them.
