Animal shelter's grand opening scheduled

After years of planning and nearly eight months of construction, Mountain Home's new animal shelter hosts a grand-opening ceremony April 11.

Open to the public, the event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the shelter's new location on Elmcrest Street.
