Air Force leader visits Mountain Home AFB

Master Sgt. Cody Robinson with the 366th Maintenance Group at Mountain Home Air Force Base briefs Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James on the day-to-day maintenance operations of the base's F-15E Strike Eagle during her visit to southern Idaho.

Plans to integrate active duty and Air National Guard units at Mountain Home Air Force Base and water issues affecting the installation were among the issues city and state leaders highlighted as they met with the Air Force's senior leader last week.

Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James visited the local Air Force base as well as Gowen Field in Boise as part of a two-day trip to southern Idaho last Wednesday and Thursday.
