Fires damage, destroy local residences

Fire consumed the Zepeda family's double-wide trailer on Broadway Street on Friday.

Fires destroyed one home and caused significant damage to another as city firefighters battled both blazes over a three-day period.

The first fire was reported around 4:40 p.m. Friday at the residence of the Zepeda family on Broadway Street off the Old Grandview Highway.
