W. Rebecca Moore

W. Rebecca Moore was born June 18, 1922, in Hagerman, Idaho, to Clarence and Sarah Moore. They moved to Glenns Ferry, Idaho, where she grew up to marry Thayne Montague and raise three children.

She was a bookkeeper for Rosevear Hardware, Clerk of the School District and Secretary to the Superintendent, and she was active in Eastern Star.

She spent her retirement years married to Harvey Lounsbury, living in Pine, Idaho. She passed peacefully on Feb. 8 while her children sang to her.

Rebecca was greatly loved by all who met her. She is survived by one brother, Vern Moore, and her children: Jenny Montague, Joan Hutchison, and Richard Montague; three grandchildren, Kelly Lattig, Sarah Carpenter, Myrah Hayhurst; and two great grandchildren, Sage Cooper and Sumner Hayhurst.

A memorial service will be held later.
