Edmund H. Rabitoy, passed away at the Central Utah Veteran's Home on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at the age of 84.

Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 8, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, with a viewing from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and funeral services at 11 a.m.. with military honors. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.

Ed was born on Sept. 25, 1930, in Stephenson, Mich., to Edward and Emma Rabitoy.

He served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force leaving with an honorable discharge. He was a 35+ year member of the American Legion Post #26 in Mountain Home and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and the Korein Shrine Temple in Wyoming.

Ed went to work for the Bureau of Reclamation at dams in Colorado, Wyoming and Idaho and retired with 35 years of government service.

Ed is survived by his wife, Leana, daughters Sandra Fontaine, of North Carolina, and Robin Bailey, of Nevada, and stepson Leon Dipp, of Idaho, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one brother and one sister, both in Michigan.
