Town needs to keep Baldridge
Dear editor:
Where is Dr. Scott Baldridge?
What a complete shock it was to get a letter in the mail a month a go saying the clinic had closed! No notice was given, All Seasons Mental Health ,who own the Family Care Clinic, just shut the door and left all Dr. Baldridge's patients without care. I was glad to see the notice after two weeks in the paper but could tell it was a political smokescreen. I knew he'd never abandon his patients like that. Then a week later there was a small blip with a quote where he said it was not a mutual closing and a complete surprise to him.
I was told in my letter I could get a copy of my records sent to me for $15 and 20 cents a page but free if sent to another doctor. Well, I DON'T WANT ANOTHER DOCTOR! Dr. Baldridge is the best doctor around and is the only one who actually listens to your problems and answers your questions. After major surgery I went to see him, he had a copy of my post surgery labs and told me that I was deficient in many areas! If it hadn't been for Dr. Baldridge helping me get back on my feet my recovery would have been much longer.
He was our family doctor when he was in the military. If Mountain Home looses him it will be a huge blow to our community. He hasn't lost us as patients, we'll follow him to Boise if we have to, but let's hope someone with some common sense finds a way to keep him here.
