Cookie math

Airman 1st Class Lauren Darr from the 726th Air Control Squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base helps students in Jim Main's second grade classroom how to measure ingredients as they made cookies during a class Monday morning.

Second graders at West Elementary School made batches of chocolate chip cookies during a math class that focused on following directions and converting different measurements.

It was a "big math lesson that tastes good, too," Main said.
