Heather Leighanna Schultz, 24, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at a Boise hospital, after a brief battle with cancer.

A memorial service was held at Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Bible Baptist Church in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.

Heather was born on May 20, 1990, in Deming, N.M.

She finished high school in 2008 and on March 26, 2010, she married Kyle Schultz, an active-duty U.S. Air Force airman. Heather followed him to his first duty station at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia. They then moved to Ramsteim, Germany.

Heather was a stay-home wife and full-time mom. She loved going fishing with her family and watching "her shows" with her best of friends.

She was an avid reader, always waiting for the next book to come out so she could enjoy it with her friends.

Heather is survived by her husband, Kyle Schultz, and her children, Prudence Sturdevant and Hailey Schultz, her parents, Joseph and Jolenda Peczeli, her sister, Larissa Alumbaugh, all of Mountain Home, and her half brothers, Chase Sturdevant of New Mexico and Louis Peczeli of Mountain Home.

The family requests that donations in Heather's memory be sent to the St. Luke's Pediatrics, c/o St. Luke's Health Foundation, 190 E. Bannock, Boise, ID 83712.
