Police investigating burglaries

The Mountain Home Police Department is continuing to investigate a number of burglaries involving local businesses.

The thefts occurred over the past week, and it's not known at this time whether the incidents are related, said Officer Melanie Broughton, a spokesperson with the city police.

Details on the case, including the types and numbers of businesses burglarized, were not made available since the case remains under investigation.

Those with any tips or information pertaining to the burglaries and those seeing any suspicious activity are asked to call Police Sgt. Ron Harmon at 587-2101. People may also submit information through the police department's website at www.mhpd.net through its "Silent Witness" link. People may remain anonymous when submitting information.
