Helene Kratzenstein

Helene M. Kratzenstein, 85, of Jerome, formerly of Mountain Home, passed away Sept. 15, 2014, at the home of her kids, Barb and Adam, where they have been caring for her the last six years.

Helene was born to Marie and Herman Pabst, on May 18, 1929, in Buhne, Germany.

Mom had two daughters, Karin DeMaria of Las Vegas, Nev., and Barb Jackson (Adam Munoz) of Jerome, and a stepson, Norbert "Bob" Jaeger (Ellen) of Menico, Calif., grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great-grandkids.

Mom requested that when "I close my eyes" that there be no services, to just embrace all the memories we all had at the cabin in Featherville, Snowrider dances, gold mining, DAV meetings, bingo, fishing/boating, all the things she dearly loved.

Cremation is under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
