Tired of 'disenfranchisement'
Dear editor:
I said my next letter would be positive, and it was, but got turned into a paid political ad, which is fine. The MAIN thing is that it got printed.
Today I want to talk about the "word of the day," which happens to be "disenfranchisement." Yesterday it was "awesome," remember when EVERYTHING was "awesome?" I don't care what it was, it was "AWESOME."
Today it's "disenfranchisement", primarily a left wing quote, and having five syllables apparently gives it some sort of importance or credibility. It basically means to omit or deny a group of folks from partaking. Eric Holder, the would-be attorney general who would be in Leavenworth today if our judicial system actually worked, got that ball rolling by trying to omit a requirement for voter ID (which is what you do when you belong to a "vote early and often" party that must cheat to win elections).
Now, I'm just a simple man, but it's not difficult even for ME to figure out that if I'm standing in a line to vote with a black lady in front of me, an Asian in front of HER and an Hispanic behind me, and when we each get to the table to check-in, if ALL FOUR of us have to show the same voter ID, nobody here is being "picked-on," "singled-out" or "disenfranchised." NOBODY. Laws that apply to EVERYBODY shouldn't exclude ANYBODY, should they? And "nobody is above the law" (especially NIXON, remember that?) Oh, I forgot, that was "different," as it always IS.
Ah yes, the law of the land, equal playing field and all these other "feel good" quotes from those we elect and/or support. Someone in a publicly "elite" family gets caught DUI and it's swept under the carpet, but they hammer YOU for the same thing. "Disenfranchised?" well, what would YOU call it? People who aren't legally supposed to even BE here get free food, medical and all the perks, but you have to pay for yours while your premiums keep rising. "Disenfranchised?" I'd say so.
Politicians can afford to have armed security for themselves and THEIR school children, but they say that YOU CAN'T. How does that work? Neither you, your kids nor your grandkids are as important as THEIRS? That's basically what those hypocrites are saying, whether you know it or not. Talk about "disenfranchisement!" They all "rate" but you don't. By all means, be sure to vote early and often.
"Operation Choke Point." Eric Holder, whose ATF would imprison YOU for a single-gun violation even while HIS boys run 2,000 of them to the cartels, is now targeting financial services who handle credit card transactions for gunshops, in the Democrat Party's eternal attempts to halt private gun ownership by honest citizens however they think they can. They've been at it for decades.
Think I beat on this "gun thing" too much? I'll sign off this week with THIS: Here we are with ISIS wanting to kill us on our own shores if they can. Here we are with "no strategy." Here we are with our military cut so thin you can see through them, and our borders WIDE OPEN. They've been wide open for years now and anybody who wants to, can just walk right on over, heck we'll even feed, clothe and PAY them to do it. (why bother with passports?) Your tax dollars at work, please give more.
Thanks to this administration, the only reliable home defense we have today is WE OURSELVES, yet the liberals running this show continue to be bent on preventing us from even doing THAT. But at least THAT part of it isn't "disenfranchisement." It's called treason.
I see this "Let Freedom Ring" thing coming from left-wing blogs. Funny line coming from those who seek to dismantle our Constitution, but they aren't strangers to hypocrisy. That "pro-choice" crowd is only pro-choice on the abortion issue. In every other endeavor, they think the GOVERNMENT should "choose" what's best for us. Stalin would have highly approved.
Joe Biden just said we need to "take the country back." In the last six years, it's the only time he's been right.
