Charles (Charley) Dee Price, 72, of Mountain Home, passed away Thursday, Aug.28, 2014.

He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle,and a friend to so many.

A graveside service is being planned at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Charles was born in Ventura, Calif., on April 18, 1942.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Sue Price, his sister, Deloria (Dee) Fay (Price) Thornhill, mother Cleo Hutton Price and father Charley Price.

Charles is survived by one brother, Larry Lee Price, four children, Kim Ann Woodard, Christine Lynn Mooneyham, Charley Price and Krystal Michelle Price, three granddaughters, Savannah, Zippy, and Bonnie Mooneyham, one son-in-law, Cort Woodard, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles was very proud serving his country with 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam, one of which he volunteered to go back for his country.

He also was a dedicated law enforcement officer in Mountain Home, a probation officer in Twin Falls, and a deputy sheriff in Idaho County.

He loved being an outdoorsman and was an avid gun collector.

His high point in life was when he worked for the embassy, which took him on many travels around the U.S. and overseas. He so loved going on adventures.

Charley was always bringing smiles to so many. He will be missed by his loving family and friends.
