Juanita C. Valdivia, 69, beloved mother, wife and daughter, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at the University of Utah Hospital.

Juanita was born Sept. 1, 1944, in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, to Juan and Josefina Rojas. In 1970, she married Serafin Valdivia.

She is survived by her husband, Serafin; her mother, Josefina; her five daughters, Elisa (Efrain) Amador, Alicia Lahmon, Carolina Velazquez, Dorita (Jaime) Lopez and Norma Judy (Carlos) Trejo; as well as nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan.

Memorial services will be held at the LDS church building, 1150 North 8th East St., in Mountain Home, Idaho, on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at 11 a.m.
