Gomez, Cardenas wed

Susana Gomez, of Mountain Home, and JR Cardenas, of Homedale, were united in marriage July 5, 2014, in the Legacy Park Rose Garden in Mountain Home, with Pastor Debbie Hodgerson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dora Rios of Mountain Home and the granddaughter of Juan and Maria Rios.

The groom is the son of Maria and Humberto Cardenas of Homedale.

Martha Araujo of Mountain Home served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Richelieu of Mountain Home and Tracy Edwards of Pocatello.

Flower girls were Yaneli Ortiz and Taiz Cardenas.

Angel Cardenas of Homedale, the groom's brother, served as best man and groomsmen were Nick Benson and Lars Mcbride of Pocatello. Idaho

The wedding colors were teal, white and grey. The couple had a rustic theme for the nuptials.

The bride wore an ivory Alfred Angelo empire waist gown with a pearl and crystal sweetheart neckline.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Mountain Home High School.

Susana and JR are Idaho State University alumni who met while studying at ISU in Pocatello.

The couple thanked everyone who attended their special day.
