Good Sams meet in Mountain Home

Dozens of camper trailers and recreation vehicles were parked behind Mountain Home Junior High School last week during this year's "Samboree" -- a large-scale gathering involving members of Good Sam chapters from across the western region.

Some came to Mountain Home pulling a basic trailer. Others came here driving full-sized recreational vehicles.

For several days last week, more than 100 of these enthusiasts gathered in Mountain Home to share their love of camping and enjoying the great outdoors.

For the second time in the organization's history, Mountain Home hosted this "Samboree" -- a large-scale gathering involving members of Good Sam chapters from across the western region.
