Shannon Driscoll

Shannon Driscoll, our beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend, left us on June 11, 2014, to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Shannon was born Feb. 22, 1961, in Princeton, Minn., to Hugh J. and Carol Slater (Gale) Crandall. She lived in Minnesota until the family moved to Montana in 1967, and then to Mountain Home, Idaho, in 1969. She attended schools in Mountain Home.

She married William Driscoll on Jan. 27, 1979, and they were later divorced. She was also married to William VanBrocklin and they divorced.

She worked as a caregiver for private people as well as for the Cottages and BeeHive assisted living facilities. Shannon had much compassion for the elderly that she worked with.

Shannon was preceded in death by her father, Hugh J. Crandall, her brothers, Michael and Shane, all her grandparents and several cousins.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheyenne Campbell and Nicole Driscoll, and her mother, Carol A. Crandall. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Antonio and Chloe Chavez and Nicholas Campbell, her brothers, Scott and Daniel, her sisters, Colleen, BethAnne and MariAnne, her aunts and uncles and numerous cousins, along with two special friends, Sindy Scott and Laurie Peterson.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2014, at the Bible Baptist Church in Mountain Home, Idaho. Inurnment will be at a later date.
