Feeling the 'Thunder'

Thursday, June 5, 2014

Since Patriot Thunder couldn't come to Mountain Home, Mountain Home went to Patriot Thunder.

More than 250 bikes and an estimated 300 bikers and passengers gathered Sunday morning at T&V Marine to make the "ride-in" trek to Meridian for the event, which raises funds for military charities.

Great work by our local group, American Legion Riders of Mt Home and the Green Knights Military Motorcycle Club Chapter 30. They represented this wonderful community well and the only regret is that they did not receive a mention in this 2 sentence article. They ensured at least 3 military charities will receive extra funding. If you see any of them riding around town, say thanks.

  • This event is a sight to see. I sure wish they'd been able to come to Mtn Home again this year. I'm glad some riders from around here were able to head to Meridian to help make it a great charity event. As "Old guy" suggested, I will pass along my thanks if I see any of them around town!
