Rosemary Taylor

Rosemary Taylor, 62, of Mountain Home passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at a local care center.

No local services will be held. Services will be held in Gary, Ind., and burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Hobart, Ind. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Rosemary was born in Memphis, Tenn., to Brady Perry and Mary Lee Jackson Perry. She was the second oldest of six children.

She and husband Walter Taylor via the military lived in Las Vegas, Nev., on the Air Force base for eight years. She was a high school graduate and she attained her associate's and bachelor's degrees at Nellis Air Force Base and Mountain Home Air Force Base.

Rosie was fortunate to be married to Walter Taylor for 42 years and had two children. Rosie worked as an Air Force base salesperson for four years. She also gave to the different charities in Mountain Home and nationally. She never used her degree for a real job because she was so involved in her children's lives.

Rosie was survived by her husband, Walter Taylor, her son Walter Taylor III and two grandsons, Tayae and Trey Taylor. She also has sisters and brothers Donald Jackson, Larry E. Jackson, Michael Jackson, Vicki M. Carter and Melinda Joy Mingo and her mother, Mary Lee Jackson Perry. She was preceded in death by her father, Brady Perry.
