Brian was born May 2, 1976, the son of Dennis Ray Strom and the late Phyllis Diane Strom. He attended high school in Fairfield and enjoyed playing football and basketball. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1994 and went on to attend Boise State University.

Brian was a lead foreman for Capital Steel in Boise for over ten years and with that job traveled all over the western states.

In 2006, he moved to Mountain Home and in 2008 married Patsy Preciado.

He then made the decision to help run the family farm, Strom Ranches Inc., with his father in Hill City. That allowed him to be closer to his wife as well as his one and only best friend and son, Logan Ray Strom.

Brian enjoyed hunting, being in the outdoors, riding snow machines and dirt bike riding with his son, Logan.

Brian is survived by his wife, Patsy Strom, of Mountain Home, his son, Logan Strom, of Gooding, his father, Dennis Strom, of Hill City, his sisters, Carol of Las Vegas, Sarah of Idaho Falls and Carlie of Boise, his brother, Brycen, of Portland, one nephew, Colton, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis, and his grandparents.

The family suggest that memorials in Brian's name be sent to his son, Logan Strom, c/o Rost Funeral Home, 500 N. 18th East St., Mountain Home, ID 83647, or the American Heart Association, Western States Affiliates, P.O. Box 742030, Los Angeles, CA 90074.
