Students from Hacker Middle School dig into their salad entrees as they participate in a formal luncheon Friday morning.

The Starlight Dining experience included a four-course meal that focused on the finer points of table manners and etiquette.

The 30 students that participated in the event were selected at random based on perfect attendance records for the first quarter of the school year. The middle school plans to host a smaller-scale event to recognize other students that also posted flawless attendance records over the past several weeks.
