The Mountain Home Tigers improved their times at last Thursday's Gib Floyd Invitational Cross country meet in Kuna.

Rocky Mountain won both the girls and boys meets. Mountain Home finished sixth in the boys, and ninth in the girls meet.

Shilo Clark led the Mountain Home girls with her best time of the season, running a 22 minutes, 52 seconds. Elisabeth Stephens was next, running a 24:21.30. Tracey Gordon ran her best time of the year with a 24:32.00. Bianca Shrader set a new PR with her 24.51.00 and Andrea Dickenson had a season best 25:21.00.

Anthony DeSantis took about 45 seconds off his season best, running a 17:25.60. Jordan Klein took 15 seconds off his previous best, running an 18:00.00. Josh Robinson took about 45 seconds off his previous best, running an 18:44. Nolan Pasqualetti bested his PR by a minute, breaking 20 minutes with a 19:13.80. Andy Croft ran a 19:15.00, and Riley Urquidi ran a season's best 20:41.00.

"The kids ran really well," said Tiger cross country coach Doug Root. "We had a lot of PRs."

The Tigers head to Eagle Island State Park Thursday for the District III 4A meet.

"If the boys keep improving, they have an outstanding chance of doing well at district and possibly make it to state."
