Fight the new socialism

Wednesday, October 16, 2013

Dear editor:

Socialism doesn't work because you eventually run out of spending other peop)e's money, yet this regime is bent on doing it "Reid's way or no way."

"Compromise" is something only the Republicans are supposed to do, and between the Democrats, the RINO's and this "new age" voting public, we've "compromised" ourselves into a $17 trillion debt, where Obama still will not cut spending.

When the right tries to stop this insanity of going into the financial abyss, we are called "hostage takers."

That's right, bite the hands that are trying to save you.

If you ran your family's finances like this regime runs the country, you'd be out in the street.

But you don't get to use bailouts and tax-dollars like the government does. You have to use your OWN money.

Those who continue to support Washington need to make sure Rosetta Stone gives a course in Chinese so you can communicate with your new masters when it all finally falls.

Communism. Another hard word, but if the shoe fits, as they say. In a truly free country, people would be OFFERED medical programs, not have it shoved down their throats and mandated with fines if you don't buy into it.

People could SPEAK freely without threat of being overheard, spied upon and turned in because "you can't say that today, " or "we don't say that anymore."

Say the wrong thing in 2013 America and you can find yourself jailed, sued or both.

Republic? Not anymore. Most of you out there still even today, do not see what's happened. Or choose not to. You can explain that to the grandchildren later.

The greatest disgrace though, is the resentment toward the Tea Parties. Our founders fought the first American Revolution primarily due to the heavy unjust taxes, government intrusion into the lives of free citizens and attempting to squelch indiviual rights and freedoms. The Tea Parties of today are committed to ending the garbage that has gradually become accepted by the sheep, and return Washington to our Constitution, and the power to the people.

Right now, the biggest difference between the House and the Senate is that the House hasn't forgotten who they work for. They serve the people who pay their salaries.

I've said it before, that I think this country is finished. Know how I know that? When the only group we have now trying to preserve the fragile freedom we have, a freedom we take for granted and most other countries do not have, when so many people now look at THEM as the "hostage holding, radical, trouble-making enemies," the brainwashing of the communist doctrine is pretty much complete, and one IS what one believes in and supports.

And if Obamacare IS the "law of the land" as Obama reminds us on television, then it should apply to EVERYBODY, including his contributor friends, Reid's state, Pelosi's district, and all of the other high level places Obama has given exemptions to.

You Democrats out there who keep preaching "equality" and "taxing the rich" shouldn't have any problem with eliminating exemptions from a)) the "affluent," should ya?

There IS a bright spot for the Dems though. Because the hard right is no longer supporting GOP sellouts and compromisers, because we are still Americans and actually stand for something, the mainstream Republican party can no longer count on conservative-based support.

We saw some of that in 2008 and again in 2012. Unless the GOP actually runs a conservative in 2016, the Dems could run Pee Wee Herman and probably win the White House again.

De ja vu I guess. When I was a young lance corporal in 1968, fighting communists in Khe Sanh, I could never have imagined that I'd be doing it again 43 years later in my own country.
