X-country teams place during races

The Mountain Home Tiger cross country teams ran in two different races last week.

Mountain Home went to the Dani Bates Invitational at Canyon Springs Golf Course in Twin Falls last Wednesday, where the girls came in 23rd and the boys 21st.

Shilo Clark led the Mountain Home girls, running a season best 23:38.58, which put her 119th.

Two spots back was Elisabeth Stephens, who ran a 23 minutes, 45.83 seconds. Tracey Gordon came in 147th with a season best time of 25:10.01. Andrea Dickenson came in 158th with a season best 26:2.34 and Bianca Shrader was two spots back with a new personal best of 26.49.42.

Anthony DeSantis led the Mountain Home boys. The Tiger freshman's time of 18:10.92 was 18 seconds better than his previous best. He finished 70th. Three spots back was another Tiger freshman, Jordan Klein, with a new personal best time of 18:15.22, 28 seconds faster than his previous best. Another Tiger freshman, Josh Robinson, finished 133rd with a time of 19:18.39. Nolan Pasqualetti was 159th with a time of 20:32.35 and Riley Urquidi had a season best time of 21:25.87, finishing 172nd.

Mountain Home also ran at the Clash in the Valley Invitational at Settler's Park in Meridian on Friday.

Just three Mountain Home girls ran in the girls' race.

Elisabeth Stephens finished 17th with a time of 22:40, her best of the season. Shilo Clark ran a 23:15, which was her best of the season. She finished 28th. Tracey Gordon came in 51st with a time of 25:27.

Mountain Home finished fifth out of five teams in the boys race.

Anthony DeSantis finished 18th, with a time of 18:13. Jordan Klein came in 29th, running an 18:57. Josh Robinson came in 47th (19:43), Nolan Pasqualetti was 57th (20:03) and Riley Urquidi came in 97th (23:12).

Mountain Home has this week off, returning to action at the Gig Floyd Meet in Kuna on Oct. 17.
