Mountain Home Tiger cross country head coach Doug Root was pleased with the efforts by his runners at the Wood River meet.

"The kids showed great improvement," the coach said. "Some improved by over three minutes and it was a tougher course."

The Tigers go to McCall this Saturday for a Splash 'N Dash meet.

"It should be a fun meet with a mud run," Coach Root said. "We're taking our junior high runners as well to compete. They won a home meet Thursday."
