Armando C. "Ray" Reyes, 76, of Mountain Home, passed away at home on July 25, 2013, surrounded by his devoted wife and children, as the result of complications of congestive heart failure.

A viewing will be held Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. at Rost Funeral Home. Services will be held at Rost Funeral Home, on Friday, Aug. 2, at 10 a.m. Graveside service with full military honors will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Armando was born Nov. 4, 1936, in Tucson, Ariz., to Alex and Virginia Reyes. Armando was one of seven children.

He joined the United States Air Force, after graduating from high school in 1953, and served 22 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he became employed with the City of Mountain Home, where he finished his working career.

Armando gave wholeheartedly to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Boise Mission and to numerous other charities. He was a member of VFW, DAV and the American Legion.

Armando is survived by his wife, June Reyes, and their three children, son Jeffrey and wife Joanne Reyes, son Andrew and wife Donna Reyes and daughter Christina and husband Rick Adams, his grandchildren, Jessie, Christopher, Andrea and Alex, and great-grandchildren Deja, Abbie, Brodi and Braylea, along with his five remaining brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Virginia Reyes, and his loving brother, Richard.
