Billy Hollandsworth

Billy A. Hollandsworth was born July 12, 1946, in Cottonwood, Idaho.

He was raised and ranched on the Salmon River. He had one brother, Steve, and a sister, Mary Jane, two step-sisters, Mick and Pam, and five step-brothers Marvin, Wayne, Bobby, Jake Eddy and Ted.

After graduating from Cottonwood High, he married and had three sons, Buck, Pat and Jason.

Later in life, Bill went to work for Simplot Livestock, where he continued working for 22 years. He met Kathy while working there. They were married for 19 years.

He loved fishing anytime and working in the yard and garden. Bill always liked a good horse, a faithful dog, a comfortable old hat and a pair of creased wranglers, then he was all set.

He came across to some people as an old grouch, but those of us who knew him knew he had a big old soft heart and would do anything for you. He just didn't want anyone to know it.

Bill loved his kids, Buck, Pat, Shay, Renee, Shannon, Travis and Nicki, and grandkids Courtney, Ciarra, Cabrina, Bailey, Sami Jo, Dalton, Randy and Meagan.

He was preceded in death by his dad, John, mother Dorothy, sister Mary Jane and son Jason.
