Richard Scott Farnsworth, Sr., 60, of Mountain Home, lost his seven-year battle with cancer on Friday, June 14, 2013, surrounded by loved ones.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013, with a viewing at 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral services at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Rich worked construction for 35 years in both Mountain Home and in Sun Valley areas. He also enjoyed playing online Bingo games.

Rich is survived by his wife of 19 years, Debra Farnsworth, his son, Richard Farnsworth II, and his daughter, Raechelle (Steve) Farnsworth, all of Seattle, his stepdaughters, Christine (Michael) Hastings of Mountain Home and Raelee (Fredy) Avila, of Burley, his seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn Farnsworth, Richard Scott Farnsworth III, Autumn Hastings, Jonathan Hastings, Steven Gough, Bella Avila and Ricardo Avila, his brothers, Larry (Shirley) Farnsworth of Caldwell, Robert (Linda) Farnsworth of Quartzsite, Ariz., and David (Merlin) Farnsworth, of Boise, and his faithful companion, his Shitzu, Little B.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Farnsworth, mother Elna (Mae) Farnsworth, and stepson Steven Gough.
