Golf team finishes in third

The Mountain Home Tigers finished third at a conference golf match with Middleton and Skyview Friday at Desert Canyon Golf Course.

Middleton won the match, shooting a 171 team score. Skyview was second, a shot back at 172. Mountain Home came in third, shooting a 194 total.

Andrew Curtis tied for medalist honors, shooting a 39. Matthew Hurley tied for third, carding a 42. Tyler Senger came in with a 53, and Jack Brown shot a 60.

The Tigers were at Ridgecrest Golf Course in Nampa on Monday for a conference match with Bishop Kelly and Columbia. The Tigers go to the Purple Sage Golf Course on Saturday for the Caldwell Invitational. The District III 4A Golf Tournament starts Monday in Caldwell.
