Michael Kolb, 48, of Novato, Calif., formerly of Mountain Home, died Jan. 20, 2013, in California, from a motorcycle accident.

A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Mountain Home and inurnment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Michael was born Oct. 5, 1964, to James and Florence Kolb in Coram, N.Y. He attended schools in Middle Island, N.Y., and Mountain Home.

Upon graduating, Michael moved to Novato, Calif. There he met and married the love of his life, Martha. Together, they raised two children, Katie and Anthony, whom he enjoyed spending time with and loved very much.

Michael owned a business called "Mike's Drywall." He loved gardening and taking care of his various animals. He had snakes, rabbits and his new adventure was his two kittens.

Mike also loved riding motorcycles. He would ride his Harley Davidson for relaxation. Unfortunately on Jan. 20, 2013, that would be his last ride. One message from our loss would be "Please look twice for motorcycles."
