With its season starting this month, the Mountain Home Tigers golf team will host a yearly benefit to support the organization.

The 12th Annual Tiger Open Golf Tournament will tee off June 8 at the Desert Canyon Golf Course.

"We are hoping this tournament turns into one of the largest in Mountain Home, bringing alumni and supporters together," said Mountain Home School District athletic director John Clark.

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the shotgun start scheduled to follow at 8:30 a.m. The entry fee is $45 per person or $180 per team for those that register by May 17. The fees increase to $50 per person and $200 per team after that date.

The entry fees cover the costs of green fees, tee prizes and lunch. Cart rentals are not included.

During the tournament, organizers will raffle various prizes, including season passes, sporting goods and high school athletic apparel. Organizers are also looking for businesses and organizations interested in helping to sponsor the event.

For more information, contact Clark at 587-2570 or 599-1167 or via e-mail at clark_jf@sd193.k12.id.us.
