District names new fire chief

The former assistant fire chief at Mountain Home Air Force Base was recently named to head the Oasis Volunteer Fire Department.

Nick Andros accepted the department's fire chief position from outgoing chief Bob Ruth, who retired as the head of the volunteer organization.
