County commissioners begin new year

During a brief ceremony Monday morning, county officials welcomed a new commissioner to the three-person board during a swearing in ceremony.

Franklin "Bud" Corbus was officially sworn in by county clerk Barbara Steele to replace retiring commissioner Arlie Shaw.
