Tree collection continues

Republic Services continues to collect live Christmas trees from customers this week as part of its normal trash collection.

Due to the New Year's holiday, the company's regularly scheduled collection dates were moved back by one day, meaning those who are serviced on Thursdays will have their trash picked up on Friday.

As a reminder, the company requires customers to remove all ornaments, lights, garland and tinsel from live trees as part of its annual collection service.
